Mapping How Vancouverites get to Work

Erik Villagomez, one of the founding editors of re:place Magazine, has put together another one of his illuminating maps.

This one uses census and Translink data to illustrate how people from various locations throughout the city get to work - by showing what percentage use transit, cycle, or walk.

I'm not able to give my two cents right now (wrapping up a long workday), it is worth the visit to see what Erik himself says. I've come to enjoy his mapping exercises, I'd love to get my hands on some GIS software myself. A map can sometimes tell the story of a hundred pictures.
